• difference between bbs.cfg_msg_ptrs() and bbs.reinit_msg_ptrs()

    From Khelair@VERT/TINFOIL to All on Tuesday, June 02, 2015 06:06:59
    If anybody could possibly tell me a little bit about the difference between bbs.cfg_msg_ptrs() and bbs.reinit_msg_ptrs(), I know that I need one of
    the two here... I would be very grateful for anything more than anyone can offer about them. The API isn't giving me exactly what I need at this point.
    TIA

    If anybody could possibly tell me a little bit about the difference between bbs.cfg_msg_ptrs() and bbs.reinit_msg_ptrs(),

    bbs.cfg_msg_ptrs() displays an interactive menu which allos the user to set their new-scan pointers for individual or groups of sub-board.

    bbs.reini_msg_ptrs() just sets the current user's pointers back to their values
    they were at login. No interactivity at all.
