I am definitely interested. I got some medical stuff to handle first part of week. But I will be checking in on that. Thank you.

I want in. What do I need to do?

that they're most likely not developing HexChat any more, it might be
    time for a change.

Check out the self-hosted Web-based client TheLounge (https://thelounge.chat). If you have a place to run it, like maybe a NAS that's always on, it's pretty nice to use from any platform with a modern browser. It even does push notifications to mobile browsers. Also it makes it nice and easy to switch from computer to computer (or device or whatever).

The way I've got it set up is: SSL proxy -> TheLounge -> ZNC -> IRC.

Thanks for the heads up. I have no use for these things (because I run terminal clients) but it is always nice to see what else is out there.

Looks nice - I have an old mIRC license, been playing with HexChat. Now
that they're most likely not developing HexChat any more, it might be
    time for a change.
The problem is Mirc licences are not long term anymore :(

I always liked mIRC. But I haven't used it much in a while, and I think the UI has changed a bit.

I suggest looking into AdiIRC; it's free, and is compatible with mIRC scripts as well as extended colors (16-99).
