• Toggling restrictions

From Hausmaus@VERT/MIDNITE1 to Digital Man on Thursday, February 20, 2003 21:33:00
    DM,

I'm working on that QWK Baja script you gave me and I was wondering: if I toggled the Q exemption for a QWK node to on (when the default logic is off), does that mean that when the node comes on the next time they log in that they will be in "quiet" mode?

    Thanks,
    HM

Do you mean the newuser module?

No. The 'Q' exemption just gives the user the option of enabling quiet mode. The UM_QUIET bit in the user settings toggles whether or not they default to quiet. Why?
