I I voted against Trump in the 2024 primary because I knew he was going to fall apart later in his term. Kind of like how there was blowback against him in 2018 and 2020.

I even don't like my state governor Newsom either. I think my congresswoman is a turd and she values illegals more than citizens.

Our nation is screwed in the long run.

IMHO, this government value (or lack thereof) reflects the current values
of a large chunk of the country. There are too many citizens who believe
that "Candidate X is the best because he/she is from Party Y" and don't pay
any attention to what actually comes out of their mouths.

In some cases, you can ammend that quote to include ", and isn't Candidate Z!!!" as if that is an actual qualifier.
